Dilani Vamapahan joins Northern Stories
Northern Stories has hired Dilani Vamapahan as a literary agent. She was chosen from a pool of 175 applicants.
The renowed MIT Press has just bought World English rights to Erik Martiniussen’s The War against Bacteria.
Bob Prior, Executive Editor at The MIT Press has this to say about the aquisition:
“The overuse of antibiotics and the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria are among the biggest health crises of our time and are deeply tied to the current pandemic. I am thrilled to add this important book to the MIT Press list of authoritative and accessible titles in the biomedical sciences.”
The deal was done in cooperation with 2 Seas Agency in California.
