“Being named a Gazelle Company is a fine recognition. It shows that strong growth is possible even within the cultural sector – and that our way of working closely with authors and screenwriters truly works,” says founder and owner Astrid Dalaker.

Since its establishment in 2017, Northern Stories has seen steady growth, with revenue rising from NOK 4.5 million in 2021 to 15.8 million in 2024. Last year alone, the agency sold 62 new film and TV rights, in addition to numerous book rights both nationally and internationally.
