The Knit Awards took place this weekend, and two of our amazing Knitting Book authors walked away with prestigious prizes.
We are happy and proud to welcome Nikolaj Frobenius to Northern Stories, an international acclaimed novelist and screenwriter. His books has been translated into numerous languages and he has since his international literary breakthrough in 1996 received lots of international awards.
Among Frobenius’ works you’ll find such iconic titles as the classic thriller Insomnia, which Christopher Nolan later turned into a major Hollywood movie starring Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hilary Swank.
Frobenius’ trademark is an assured talent and a linguistic skill beyond the norm. In his writing he switches between real, fictitious and historical scenarios with supreme confidence and moves effortless in time and space. A central theme in several of his novels is the juxtaposition of the present and the past.
Foreign Sales: Nikolaj Frobenius’ oevre is now translated into 18 languages: British English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Korean, Lithuanian, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.

Dumbsday, written by Christopher Pahle, received the award for Best Screenplay in the “Long Format Series” category at Canneseries, against seven other international series.
