The Ice to Pushkin Press

The UK rights to John Kåre Raake’s thriller The Ice has been acquired by the renowned British publisher Pushkin Press. – The Ice is a brilliantly paced and plotted thriller — taut, claustrophobic, and all played out in the freezing darkness of the North Pole. I can’t wait for Pushkin Vertigo to publish it in English, says the editor Daniel Seton.

UK makes this the eight territory in translation for The Ice. In addition will Nordisk Film Production turn the book into an international TV series with Tomb Raider director Roar Uthaug at the helm.

The success lays the ground for more books with Anna Auna as the protagonist and we may disclose that another book is on its way. But now first out in the UK and in English – congrats JK!
