Granta Books has secured World English rights to Siri Helle’s book The Hand Made Tale after an auction.
Deputy Publishing Director at Granta Books, Laura Barber says:
‘We all at Granta were captivated by Siri’s account of building her own mini-cabin – both for the clarity and honesty of her description of the challenges of wielding a chainsaw, and for the subtle profundities she discovers along the way. This is a book that celebrates the act of reconnecting with your own two hands and discovering the joy of creation. We feel so excited to be introducing Siri Helle’s writing to the English-speaking world.’
The Hand Made Tale has been really well received by critics and book buyers, and it is now in its second print run.
