Dilani Vamapahan joins Northern Stories
Northern Stories has hired Dilani Vamapahan as a literary agent. She was chosen from a pool of 175 applicants.
The first book about Ingrid Winter written by Janne Stigen Drangsholt is going to become a movie.
The Marvelous Misadventures of Ingrid Winter will be produced by the Norwegian production company Chezville.
Director will be Siri Seljeseth, who is well known in Norway for the NRK-series «Unge lovende».
Johan Kaos Nåden Dyrstad is the script writer and Gary Cranner at Chezville is the producer.
Chezville has previously done several films connected to the Stavanger-area, such as «Now it’s dark» and «Eventyrland».
Janne Stigen Drangsholt’s The Marvelous Misadventures of Ingrid Winter (2015) is one of three books about the neurotic and habitually annoyed academic Ingrid Winter, featured also in Winter in Wonderland, 2016. And Winter War, 2018.
