In recent years Helena J. Nielsen (1984) has been the lead Author of several drama series, and creator for the crime series Livstid (NRK 2020). She is currently a writer together with creator Emilie Beck for the TV series “Flukten fra Bolivia” for TV2, Norway. Helena started her career as a screenwriter working on the Netflix success Lillyhammer, after graduating from the Norwegian Film School in 2012. Since then, she has worked with several major drama productions, such as Hotell Cæsar and Aber Bergen. Helena has also written for large Scandinavian productions, among them the eight part Crime Drama Black Widows, a Scandinavian TV series that aired on TV3 in 2016, and latest “Furia” aired on Viaplay 2021.
