Terje Bjøranger has worked with honour-related crime throughout his professional career – first in child welfare services, then for many years with the police, and for a decade as a prosecutor with Norway’s National Criminal Investigation Service (Kripos).
Bjøranger made his literary debut in 2010 with The Third Sister. His Charlie Robertsen crime novels have been widely praised for their authenticity, relevance and sharp social commentary, and have received several major literary award nominations, including the Norwegian Booksellers’ Prize and the Riverton Prize.
